Perk up your posture

Stand tall first thing in the A.M. and enjoy a slimmer silhouette all day.
Slouching creates a paunch. Before getting dressed in the morning, stand sideways in front of a mirror. Your shoulder, hip, knee and ankle should all be in line, says Ramona Braganza, a personal trainer in Los Angeles. Adjust your body if necessary and get a feel for the position. Then, while brushing your teeth or standing in line anywhere, put yourself in that stance.
